My name is Janina Jaraczewski, and I am a DFW based actress. I am Filipino and Polish or as my siblings and I would say “Pola-Pino”. I grew up moving around the Southwest United States, but happily call Crawford, TX my hometown.

My love of performing was ignited when I was cast as Bianca in my 3rd grades production of TAMING OF THE SHREW. I had no lines, but the joy I had creating and crafting a character was something that resonated so viscerally with me. From there I found my love of music through years of vocal lessons spanning from 4th grade to now.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington

(Mav Up!) with a degree in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance. Across the DFW area I have had the privilege of performing at Stolen Shakespeare Guild, Theatre Arlington and most recently with UTA in HEAD OVER HEELS as the role of Philoclea. HEAD OVER HEELS has been one of my favorite performances so far as it combined my two favorite things: Verse and Musical Theatre.

When I’m not performing, I can be found cultivating and propagating my numerous house plants. Ranging from cacti to a rosebush I haven’t had the heart to put outside yet, I have 17 in total. Many of my plants are named, including Mrs. Plant, Monty, and Tzeitel.
